WE CAN HELP:
I NEED A REPORT
This page of the ROAR website will ask you to respond to a range of questions about your behaviours and thinking patterns related to eating and body concerns over recent weeks. You will also be asked about the impact of eating and body concerns on other parts of your life. These will be things like your quality of life, your physical health, and feelings of distress or worry. It will take about ten minutes to answer the questions.
At the end of the questions you can generate a ROAR report which is a personalised summary of your responses. You can also generate a separate report that can be printed and shown to health professionals when you seek help. This will help you to share what has been happening for you in regard to your eating and body concerns and is particularly helpful if you find it difficult to talk about your concerns. The reports will be more accurate and give you best value for your help seeking journey if you answer all of the questions. But if you feel uncomfortable, you can leave some questions and perhaps come back to them later.
Answering these questions will give you a real sense of the types of problems you are going through and how much they impact your life. For some people, seeing their responses in black and white can be overwhelming. Don’t let this put you off. You are in the right place to be reaching out and facing your concerns. It really helps to get an in-depth picture of what is going on, not just for yourself, but also so that you can share this information with a health professional.
